S-Bepafant is the active enantiomer of the racemic PAFR antagonist Bepafant. S-Bepafant shows slightly enhanced potency in vivo compared to racemic Bepafant, and both are significantly more active than Apafant.
Bepafant is a synthetic racemic PAFR antagonist based on the hetrazepine scaffold. It is a pharmacologically more potent derivative of Apafant.
Apafant is a synthetic platelet-activating-factor receptor (PAFR) antagonist based on the thienotriazolodiazepine scaffold that has become a mainstay in in vitro and in vivo studies of the PAF pathway.
BI-9774 is a highly potent and selective AMPK activator. It activates all human AMPK isoforms tested as well as rat AMPK (α1β1γ1) with EC50 values below 100 nM. It also shows anti-diabetic efficacy in diabetic rodents.
BI-3257 inhibits replication of HIV-1 with nanomolar potency by inhibiting the assembly of the capsid core of the virus. The negative control BI-3545 is also available.
