From the generous support of opnMe, we were able to use an expensive compound, BI-653048, for free! This made critical experiments in cell lines and patient-derived xenografts possible. The process of ordering and receiving compounds was seamless and easy and I highly encourage more scientists to engage in open science.  

I tested BI-9740, obtained for free in my experiments. This significantly advanced my research in anti-proteolytic therapy upstream of pro-inflammatory neutrophil serine proteases by blocking their maturating enzyme, cathepsin C. Their support has been crucial.
